Vintage sterling silver pendant and brooch. To me I read this piece to symbolise ‘Hope’ Outreaching open hands, leaf and flower representing new life growing and protection of our world.
I have not come across anything similar, a really powerful small piece of jewellery. It has a roll clasp pin fully working and and amazing pivoting hook for your chain, so when worn as a brooch it tucks away so not visible. Amazing craftsmanship. This pieces has been oxidised so that you get darker element to the silver to show the pattern more. This has been sympathetically lightly polished to not remove the intended oxidisation.
