A fabulous pair of vintage Mexican clip-on earrings, with a wonderfully sculptural, undulating form. The combination of sterling silver and warm golden brass is particularly beautiful, giving these earrings a lovely autumnal warmth.
They are incredibly tactile and have a real presence when worn, whilst the clip-on fittings make them perfect for unpierced ears — although they can of course be worn by anyone.
Marked 925 MEXICO to the reverse.
As vintage pieces, they have a lovely amount of age-related patina and surface wear, particularly to the brass, which I think adds beautifully to their character and warmth. Please see photographs.
