Vintage sterling silver and agate brutalist ring. This is a super example of the wonderful texture and relief that was very much from this era. Wonderful undulating organic texture around the shank of the ring. Set with a cabochon of agate. When held up to the sky (in the last picture) you can see the beautiful striations in the stone.
Inside the ring (picture 8) there is some discolouration. You can’t see this when the ring is being worn but only right to mention. I think possibly it has been re glued in its setting over the years and this is what the discolouration is. This has been reflected in the price.
