Vintage sterling silver Caithness glass pendant with original chain. Caithness glass is made in the very northern part of Scotland. They still make glass today but no longer jewellery. This is a lovely piece of millefiori glass. That is when many small pieces of glasses are fused together to make a unique pattern. The surface of the glass does have scratches on it from being worn and loved over the years. Set in a wonderful textured brutalist patterned shank.
Under my jewellery loop you can see surface scratches on the glass but not really that noticeable to the naked eye.
