Vintage Sterling silver and brass pendant with original sterling silver link chain with bar fastening.
It’s a modernist version of a ‘Luckenbooth’ which is a heart-shape with a crown that originated in Scotland in the 16th century and is a symbol of love, loyalty, and protection.
The heart & sphere are made from sterling silver and the crown is made from brass. It’s a wonderfully tactile piece as the crown is a spectate piece so can be moved up and down the chain.
