This exceptional vintage Native American sterling silver bracelet is crafted from a beautifully shaped bar of silver that has been cut, flared open, and hand-stamped with traditional motifs. The central panel features crescent moons and zigzag lines, creating striking movement and texture across the surface.
On each outer edge of the bangle is a mirrored group of symbolic elements: a four-way cross, two arrows, and a bird. Together they create a balanced and meaningful composition characteristic of many Indigenous silversmithing traditions.
While this piece is not stamped 925, it has been tested as sterling silver. It also bears a maker’s mark, as shown in the photographs.

Symbolic Motifs
Because Native American art varies widely between Nations and individual artists, meanings can differ, but these symbols are commonly understood in the following ways within various Southwestern traditions:
Crescent Moons – Often associated with cycles, guidance, and natural rhythms.
Zigzag Lines – Frequently used to represent lightning, energy, or powerful natural forces.
Four-Way Cross – A widespread motif that can symbolize the four cardinal directions, balance, or the interconnectedness of the natural world.
Arrows – In many Indigenous artistic traditions, arrows can relate to protection, direction, or movement.
Bird – Birds are often seen as messengers or symbols of freedom, perspective, or spiritual connection.
These interpretations are general and may not reflect the specific intention of the original artist, but they demonstrate the deep cultural significance often carried in Native American ornamentation.
