Exceptional Vintage Uma Silbey Sterling Silver, Copper, Quartz and Lapis Lazuli Bangle – Collector's Piece An exceptional vintage sterling silver bangle by renowned American jeweller Uma Silbey, who began creating her distinctive jewellery in the late 1970s. Selby was also a celebrated author, best known for one of the best-selling books on crystals, making her jewellery highly sought after by collectors. This striking piece features a beautifully clear-cut quartz crystal in the centre, flanked on either side by rich blue lapis lazuli stones. Crafted from a combination of sterling silver and copper, the design showcases wonderful swirling and flowing copper work gracefully embracing the central crystal, allowing it to take pride of place and shine in all its natural beauty. The contrasting metals create a particularly eye-catching and harmonious effect. A genuine collector's piece, this bracelet is approximately 50 years old and remains in excellent vintage condition. Under 9x magnification, there are two very minor areas of wear to the tips of the quartz crystal on the reverse side. These are not visible when worn from the front but are mentioned for complete accuracy.
