What a charming little brooch. To me I see it as an abstract sun. It is Gold Vermeil over Sterling silver which gives the warmth of the sun too. It is signed by the artist and only 100 were made. This is No.63! I have tried finding out more about who made it but sadly have not been able to find out anything more. The name would suggest possibly from Finland? Surface wear commensurate with age.
