Beautiful vintage handmade sterling silver leaf brooch. The central vain is polished silver and the leaf is highly textured. The light catches this wonderfully. As the brooch pin is mounted centrally it means it can also be worn as a pendant. It has hand scribed on the back ‘Hephaestus’ M27 XE/1. I am wondering if the maker scribed it on as it does mean ‘craftsman/artisan’ in Greek.
