The detail in the scrolling of the headdress is so intricate. Then you move down to the face that has been carved in black onyx. With her dangling earrings and twisted rope necklaces. These are truly exceptional and rare earrings.
Due to their age some of the scrolls in the headdress had got slightly miss shaped. I have manipulated them sympathetically back to as near as I can to their original shape.
These are currently on their original screw earring fastening. I could convert them to pierced hooks but you would then loose the black stud detail at the top.
